On May 14th, the Argentinean Society of Radiology has celebrated its 100th anniversary, thus becoming one of the few hundred-year-old societies worldwide, among which we find the following:
We'd like to congratulate SAR (Argentinean Society of Radiology) for this important milestone.
Dr. Ricardo Garcia Monaco, the ISR president, has given a plaque to the SAR authorities. He gave a speech to the celebration attendees where he emphasized about the SAR achievements during these 100 years, for being precursory of the Latin American Radiology, and emphasized on the importance of the accomplishments reached and encouraged to continue in this manner.
Dr. Garcia Monaco also received a recognition from SAR authorities for his presidential period 2001-2006.
The celebration took place as a social event, where imaging professionals and industry representatives came together.
